Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday in the green for the second session in a row, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets added 0.47%, 0.7%, and 0.06%, respectively.
Telecom companies led seven rising sectors with 2%, while the consumer goods segment led decliners with 0.67%.
Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Co was the top winner with 17.11%, while Osoul Investment led the losers with 9.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 18.7% to KWD 11.7 million on Wednesday from KWD 9.86 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 20.4% to 43.62 million shares from 36.24 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 2.35 million, the stock added 0.95%.
Zain was the most active stock on which 5.42 million shares were exchanged, the stock went up 2.4%.
