Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait edged down by 0.16% or 11.10 points, to end Monday’s trading session at 6,779.83 points.
Both Kuwait 15 and the weighted indices lost 0.8% and 0.65%, respectively.
The telecom sector led the decliners with 1.67%, dragged by Zain which lost 3.03%. The real estate segment levelled down by 0.62% as Sanam dropped by 5.26%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment topped five gainers with 0.62%.
Turnover shrank to KWD 38.104 million, as trading volume decreased to 380.086 million shares.
Remal was the most active stock on which 35.63 million shares were exchanged.
Zain recorded the highest trading value of KWD 7.73 million.
