Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session 0.15% or 10.35 points higher at 6,832.53 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.78% and 0.53%, respectively.
The volatile performance at Boursa Kuwait is expected to continue in the coming sessions in line with the higher trading activity of some companies, as well as the banks segment, deputy of the investment research director at KAMCO Raed Diab said.
He noted that the main index may rise to 7,100 points if it breaks the resistance of 6,870 and 6,900 points.
The market’s turnover shrank to KWD 24.52 million on Tuesday from KWD 25.04 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 126.61 million shares from 139.07 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 17.38 million shares were traded, falling 2.3%.
KFH recorded the highest trading value of KWD 5.93 million.
The banks segment topped seven gainers with a rise of 1.1%, while the financial services sector led three decliners with a fall of 0.4%.
