Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday's trading session with a massive rise for the fifth consecutive session; after the All-Share Market index levelled up 1.42%.
Similarly, the Main Market index and the Premier Market index added 0.17% and 0.99%, respectively.
The bourse’s trading volume fell to 158.68 million shares on Sunday, from 165.18 million on Thursday, while traded value amounted to KWD 26.59 million, compared to KWD 34.74 million.
The banking sector jumped 20.5%, while the oil and gas segment inched up 0.13%.
Boubyan International Industries Holding’s stock was the best performer after growing 9.25%, whereas Aqar Real Estate Investments’ stock tumbled 8.45%.
Aayan Leasing’s stock, which increased 2.50%, led the bourse in terms of trading volume after 28.2 million shares were exchanged, while Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which rose 2.2%, was the most active in terms of liquidity after generating a turnover of KWD 5.7 million.
