Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session 0.18% or 12.03 points higher at 6,831.07 points, the weighted index gained 0.18%, and Kuwait-15 levelled up 0.16%.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 3.45%, on the back of Napesco which rose by 7.04%.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector led six decliners with 0.59%, dragged by Noor which retreated by 3.8%.
Yiaco Medical led the winners with a rise of 10.20%, while UPAC headed the decliners with a fall of 6.76%.
The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 18.6 million, and the trading volume grew to 127.7 million shares.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 14.72 million shares were traded, closing at 48.5 fils.
KFH recorded the highest trading value of KWD 4.25 million, up 1.01%.
