Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait announced a two-day holiday on the occasion of the New Year 2020, according to a statement on Wednesday. Kuwait’s stock market referred that it will close on Wednesday and Thursday, 1 and 2 January 2020.
Trading hours will resume on Sunday, 5 January.
Noteworthy to mention, on Tuesday, 24 December, Kuwait Banking Association announced that local banks will be shut on 1 and 2 January on this occasion.
In the meantime, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Sunday, 22 December, announced the New Year’s holiday for all ministries, government bodies, and public institutions.
