Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market fell 0.74% or 36.7 points to close at 4,938.22 points on Monday; remaining at its lowest level in 12 years.
Kuwait-15 retreated 1.15% to 776 points, while the weighted index lost 1% or 3.4 points to close at 332.63 points.
Liquidity declined to KWD 10.5 million after trading volume amounted to 155 million shares that were traded through 3,500 transactions.
NBK fell 1.49% to 660 fils, KFH dropped 1% to close at 450 fils and Viva leveled 1% down to 990 fils, a series of hard hits by blue chips that stung the bourse today.
Sultan surged 10%, and its subsidiary National Real Estate leaped 6.3%.
