Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index added 23.83 points, or 0.86%, to close at 2,787.72 points on Tuesday supported by blue chips.
Market capitalisation grew to AED 368.88 billion on Tuesday, compared to AED 367.15 billion on Monday.
Trading volume reached 196.75 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 158.02 million.
The real estate sector rose by 1.06%, as the banking and consumer staples sectors went up by 0.88% and 1.23%, respectively. Deyaar Development surged 10.5%, while Dubai Insurance dropped 4.76%.
Dubai Investment added 1.56% and Emaar Properties levelled up by 1.36%. Dubai Islamic Bank grew by 1.14% and Emirates NBD rose by 0.81%.
On the other hand, DXB Entertainments declined by 1.46% and Damac Properties shed 0.44%.
