Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, has commended, during the cabinet’s weekly meeting held earlier today, the inauguration of the Black Sand Plant on Wednesday by Egypt's President, Abdelfattah El-Sisi.
Madbouly affirmed that the Black Sand Minerals Complex is part of the state’s concentrated efforts aimed at maximising the country’s exploitation of natural resources, according to an official statement on Thursday.
Moreover, he called upon private sector institutions to partner or inject investments to build plants so as to further capitalise on existing resources.
The project, one of Hassan Allam Holding’s key projects to date, is situated in Burullus and consists of a primary concentration plant and a mineral separation plant, and is set to be one of the most nationally significant projects.
Completed in record time, the project will produce a number of products, including zircon, magnetite, ilmenite, rutile, garnet, and monazite.
The Egypt Economic Conference 2022 is set to launch next Sunday in Cairo to discuss the conditions and future of the country's economy.
The agenda of the three-day conference includes many sessions focusing on three main tracks: macroeconomic policies, private sector empowerment and creation of a business-friendly ecosystem, and the formulation of a future roadmap for the priority sectors in the government’s work programme.
