Mubasher: Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) posted on Wednesday a fall of 24.4% in its net profit for the third quarter of fiscal 2016 to BHD 11.74 million ($30.93 million), versus BHD 15.53 million ($40.91 million) for Q3-15.
Net profit for the first nine months of 2016 declined by 16.1% to BHD 39.19 million from BHD 46.71 million for the same period of 2015, according to a statement.
Operating profit amounted to BHD 16 million in Q3-16, 21.6% down from BHD 20.4 million for Q3-15.
The company earlier reported a net profit of BHD 13.08 million for Q2-16, 36.3% up from BHD 9.6 million for Q2-15.
