Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Monday’s early trades, backed by the rise of banks and transportation sectors.
The general index added 0.08% or 2 points to reach 3,210.5 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The banks sector was the top gainer with a 0.24% rise, backed by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) which advanced 1.5%.
The transportation sector went up 0.2% as Air Arabia grew 0.8%.
The investment sector was the worst performer after losing 0.5%, affected by the fall of Dubai Investments.
The real estate sector declined 0.08% as Arabtec Holding retreated 0.7%.
The market saw trading of 24.3 million shares through 242 transactions, with a turnover of AED 22.9 million.
