Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 56.35 points, or 1.11%, to 5,092.4 points in a week, pushed up by the banking sector.
The energy sector gained 3.9%, while the real estate and telecom sectors added 1.72% and 0.72%, respectively.
Market capitalisation jumped to AED 523.06 billion over the week, compared to AED 516.32 billion in the previous week.
Commercial Bank International soared 28.33%, while the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank rose by 4.65% and 3.56%, respectively. First Abu Dhabi Bank gained 0.53%.
Taqa surged 12.3%, Adnoc Distribution added 5.07%, Dana Gas rose by 2.52%, and Etisalat increased by 1.33%.
