Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday’s trading session in negative territory, dragged by the fall of the banking and telecommunication sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 19 points, or 0.24%, to 7,816.64 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 20.67 million shares exchanged through 18,200 transactions at a turnover of SAR 448.7 million.
The medicine sector topped TASI’s losers falling 1.63%, followed by the banking and telecommunication sectors with 0.87%, each.
Similarly, the energy sector plunged 1.66%, followed by the healthcare sector, which levelled down 1.54%.
Meanwhile, Nomu, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, inched up 0.07, or 1.62 points, to 2,424.83 points.
