Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance, for the second session in a row, supported by the growth of the banking sector.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up by 0.19 %, or 14.62 points, ending the session at 7,887.36 points.
The media sector topped the risers adding 2.09%, followed by the food and beverages sector with 1.82%.
Similarly, the energy and banking sectors grew by 1% and 0.45%, respectively.
On the negative side, the telecommunication sector headed the decliners falling 0.66%, while the transportation and real estate sectors retreated by 0.63% and 0.25%, respectively.
On the other hand, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled down by 1.32%, or 53.85 points, finishing the session at 4,025.88 points.
