Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) ended Monday’s session rising 0.34% or 3.96 points to 1,156.45 points; its highest level since 27 March.
Trading volume reached 2.42 million shares exchanged at BHD 723,510.
The industrial sector was the best performer with a growth of 3.09%, supported by an increase of 3.23% in Aluminum Bahrain.
The banks sector also leapt by 0.46% as National Bank of Bahrain advanced by 2.19%.
Meanwhile, the hotel and tourism sector declined 0.5% as Gulf Hotels Group shrank 0.75%.
The services sector also fell by 0.46%, dragged by a 2.04% fall in Seef Properties.
