Bahrain ranked the 39th in Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016 as compared to the 44th in the previous year, advancing by 5 positions.
The report noted that the Middle East and North Africa region should improve private sector to face the current geopolitical conflict and terrorist threatens.
Qatar ranked the 14th globally and the 1st regionally, followed by the UAE and KSA which came in the 17th and the 25th place globally.
Switzerland was placed the 1st, followed by Singapore and the US respectively.
