Bahrain equities hit lowest since early 2014

Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse plummeted 1.31% or 16.99 points to reach 1,275.30 pts, its lowest since January 2014.

Turnover reached BHD 177,010, after 293,100 shares changed hands in 21 transactions.

The investment sector fell by nearly 4.01%, hurt by Arab Banking Corp. (ABC) and Gulf Finance House (GFH) which dropped by 9.60% and 5.88%, respectively.

The banking sector shed 0.61% as National Bank of Bahrain slid 2.78%. Meanwhile, the remaining sectors kept flat.

Investcorp was the most active with a traded value of BHD 60,000.
