Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse gained 0.85% or 10.12 points and closed the week at the level of 1,198.82 points.
The benchmark index rose on the back of 5 sectors, as the investment added 2.15% on the back of Al Baraka Banking, and Bahrain Commercial Facilities which went up by 5.68% and 3.88% respectively.
The services sector grew 1.38% as Bahrain Duty Free Shop increased by 5.33%.
Similarly, hotels and tourism rose by 0.52% on the back of Gulf Hotels Oman which gained 0.79%.
The banks sector added 0.13% as Ithmaar Bank shed grew 4%.
Meanwhile, total traded volumes increased to 5.71 million shares compared to 6.52 million shares last week, while turnover registered BHD 1.75 million compared to BHD 1.09 million.
Banks dominated 78.67% of total traded values with around BHD 846,000, followed by the services sector which 12.33% BHD 132,590.
As for the stocks performance, Ahli United Bank had the biggest share of total traded values this week with 62.84% followed by Baraka Banking Group with 5.38%.
