Bahrain Bourse ends 7-day rising streak

Mubahser: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse ended Wednesday’s trading session in red, after closing seven consecutive sessions in green.

The Bahrain All Share Index (BSEX) slipped 0.04% or 0.55 points, and closed at the level of 1,319.75 points.

Traded volumes increased to 2.43 million shares up from 835,640 shares yesterday, while traded values registered BHD 723,120 compared to BHD 247,360 on Tuesday.

The banking sector index lost 0.09% as Ithmaar Holding led the decliners and dropped 3.45%.

Similarly, the services sector went down by 0.09% as Seef Properties fell 0.83%.

Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) was the most active in today’s traded values and volumes with 1.164 million shares and a total turnover of BHD 491,510.
