Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse ended Monday’s trading rising 0.5% or 5.77 points to the level of 1,161.39 points.
Trading volume shrank to 1.26 million shares from 2.16 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also decreased to BHD 266,100 from BHD 703,206.
The banks sector grew 1.02% as National Bank of Bahrain, Al Salam Bank – Bahrain and Ahli United Bank leapt by 2.82%, 1.09% and 0.79% respectively.
The investment sector rose 0.28%, backed by a growth of 2.17% in Investcorp.
On the other hand, the services sector fell 0.4%.
