Riyadh – Mubasher: BAAN Holding Group appointed Ahmed Ibrahim Al Rabiah as an external member of the audit committee.
The appointment, effective 27 September, fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Nabil bin Dawood Al Hoshan, which was previously disclosed on 31 August.
Al-Rabia will serve for the remainder of the committee’s current term, which is scheduled to conclude on 18 April 2028.
A graduate of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1984, Al Rabiah brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate and investment banking.
His professional background includes senior executive roles at Riyad Bank, Gulf International Bank (GIB), and SNB Capital.
The company stated that Al Rabiah has extensive expertise in capital markets, energy, and utilities.
He currently holds several board and committee positions, including roles at Arabian Taysir Finance Company and Ashraq Development and Real Estate Company.
The board approval for this appointment was issued via a circulation resolution on the same date as the membership commencement.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the group turned profitable at SAR 53.32 million against net losses of SAR 16.65 million in H1-25.
