BAAN Holding appoints new board member

Riyadh – Mubasher: BAAN Holding Group’s board of directors approved the appointment of Faisal bin Mohammed Al Malik to fill the vacant seat on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, effective from 6 October.

He will stay in the position until the end of the current committee term, which expires on 18 April 2028.

Al Malik holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University. He also obtained a certificate in Credit Analysis from Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, United States, during his tenure at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund.

In addition, he has participated in numerous international exhibitions and conferences specializing in hospitality, restaurant, tourism, and entertainment sectors.

The new member possesses extensive experience in hospitality, tourism, entertainment, investment, and real estate sectors, as well as in business management, investment development, and overseeing companies operating in the hospitality, entertainment, and services industries.  

On 4 October, Salem bin Ali Al Shahrani stepped down from his role in the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Executive Committee.
