Aramco Chairman joins India’s Reliance board

Riyadh – Mubasher: Chairman of Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), Yasir Al Rumayyan, will be joining the board of Reliance Industries, a Mumbai-headquarter firm.

The Indian company is expected to finalise a deal with Aramco this year, after obtaining required regulatory clearances, Bloomberg reported.

Reliance Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, noted that the company’s international plans will begin as Al Rumayyan joins the board.

The Saudi oil producer has reportedly secured a 12-month extension to a $10 billion credit facility it had raised in 2020.
