Arabia Group inks deal to renovate Galleria Mall with EGP 50m investment

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian real estate developer Arabia Development has unveiled a new development plan for Galleria Mall in East Cairo.

Arabia Group and Amaken signed an agreement to manage and promote the Galleria Mall project during a press conference on Tuesday with the attendance of Ayman Nawar, Head of Arabia Development's Commercial Sector,  Amr Diab Vice President for Technical Affairs at Arabia Holding, and Jasser Bahgat, CEO of Amaken, according to a statement. 

The Head of Arabia Development's Commercial Sector, Ayman Nawar, said, “I decided to change Galleria Mall's activities to include the majority of its units for administrative operations while keeping the restaurants and cafés on the ground floor to provide a variety of services to the mall's clients.

Under the deal, Amaken will revamp, manage, and promote the Galleria Mall project with an investment of EGP 50 million.

Amaken will be responsible for administering the mall as well as selling and leasing the project's remaining units.

Extending over an area of 18,000 metres in New Cairo, the Galleria Mall project features 105 administrative and 16 commercial units.
