Arab Drug eyes EGP 18.8m profits in 2017/18 budget

Cairo – Mubasher: The Arab Drug Company said Monday that it plans to increase its profits for fiscal year 2017/2018 by 347.6% to EGP 18.8 million, versus a target profit of EGP 4.2 million for the current FY.

The company targets a rise of EGP 100 million in its revenues for FY17/18 to EGP 350.2 million from target revenues of EGP 250.2 million for FY16/17, according to a bourse filing.

In the first eight months of FY16/17, profits before tax reached EGP 19.4 million, versus EGP 3.5 million for the same period of FY15/16.

Total sales amounted to EGP 227.6 million in the eight-month period this year, compared to EGP 168.24 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
