Amman’s index shrinks 3.64 points in early trade

Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s main index declined 0.18% or 3.64 points, reaching the level of 2,019.26 points in early trade.

Trading value reached JOD 1.84 million, with a trading volume of 4.62 million shares exchanged in 1,200 trades.

The index was affected by a fall in seven shares, while seven others moved up.

Arab Jordan Investment Bank led the losers with a 2.4% decrease, followed by Jordan Ahli Bank which dropped 1.63%.

Arab Aluminum Industry (Aral) topped the gainers as it added 2.55%, followed by Al Amal Investment with an increase of 1.53%.

The ASE’s main index rose yesterday 0.33% or 6.57 points to 2,022.86 points.
