Riyadh – Mubasher: Almarai Company has generated net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 420.50 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, up 8.96% from SAR 385.90 million in Q1-2021.
During the January-March period in 2022, the revenues surged by 23.55%, reaching SAR 4.50 billion compared to SAR 3.64 billion during the same three months a year earlier, according to the company’s consolidated interim financials for the period ended 31 March 2022.
On a quarterly basis, the company’s revenues increased by 5.78% in Q1-22 from SAR 4.25 billion in Q4-21, while the net profits soared by 46.77% from SAR 286.50 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 0.43 in the first three months of 2022, versus SAR 0.39 in the year-ago period.
In 2021, Almarai recorded consolidated net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.56 billion, a 21.21% year-on-year (YoY) drop from SAR 1.98 billion.
