Riyadh – Mubasher: Almarai Company has signed an asset purchase agreement with Binghatti Beverages Manufacturing (BBM), the UAE-based beverage manufacturing factories, to acquire BBM production facility in the UAE in exchange for AED 215 million.
The transaction will enable Almarai to expand the range of beverage products in the region, according to Almarai's disclosure to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Subject to certain regulatory approvals, the transaction is fully financed from Almarai’s operating cash flows.
