Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Co reported a 15% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its net profits, logging EGP 625.24 million in the first half (H1) of fiscal year 2020/2021, compared to EGP 736.06 million, the unaudited financial results showed.
Sales slid to EGP 1.09 billion in the July-December period of 2020 from EGP 1.25 billion in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
During the first five months of FY20/21, the company logged EGP 465.13 million in net profits, down from EGP 632.94 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
