Aldar adopts new group operating model to promote growth

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties has launched a new group operating model that focuses on digital transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainability, as the company drives the next phase of growth.

Under the new operating model, the parent Aldar will be supported by Aldar Development and Aldar Investment, established as independent companies and led by their own CEOs, according to a recent press release.

Hence, Jassem Busaibe, the CEO of Aldar Investment, and Jonathan Emery, the CEO of Aldar Development, will report to the Group CEO, while operating under their own decentralised governance models and functions.

Aldar Development will include three subsidiaries: Aldar Projects, Aldar Ventures, and Aldar Egypt which will provide innovative and customer-centric products, while Aldar Investment will comprise Aldar’s core asset management business.

Aldar Investment will maximise the value of the company’s AED 20 billion portfolio of recurring income assets and manage three platforms, Aldar Education, Aldar Estates, and Aldar Hospitality and Leisure.

Commenting on the group's new operating model, the Group CEO of Aldar, Talal Al Dhiyebi, said: "The diverse and dynamic business we are today requires a more agile operating model that will enable our next phase of growth."
