Riyadh - Mubasher: Al Yamamah Rebar Company, a unit of Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company, signed a SAR 270 million contract on 14 July with a specialized European company for the manufacture, supply, and installation of iron billet production equipment.
The contract duration is set for two and a half years, according to the regulatory filing.
The financial impact of this agreement is expected to materialize during the second half (H2) of 2028. Al Yamamah Rebar is a closed joint-stock company with an independent legal personality.
The company stated that the disclosure was made in accordance with transparency requirements while protecting trade secrets and competitive advantages.
Al Yamamah Steel Industries confirmed that there are no related parties involved in the transaction.
The listed group recently announced a significant update regarding its participation in the capital increase of its subsidiary, Al Yamamah Company for Reinforcing Steel Bars. It will subscribe to 6.30 million new shares at a total value of SAR 75.60 million.
