Riyadh — Mubasher: Al Jouf Agricultural Development Company announced the commencement of trial operations for its French fries factory expansion project on 30 September 2026, according to a bourse disclosure.
The move follows the completion of construction activities at the potato processing facility.
The expansion project was initially approved by the company's board of directors on 4 August 2024, while it was publicly disclosed on the following day, 5 August 2024.
The primary objective of the investment is to scale up the current production capacity of the potato processing plant by 50%.
Al Jouf Agricultural noted that the launch of trial operations marks the final phase of the project implementation before the transition to full commercial production.
The company further confirmed that there were no delays in the project timeline and no changes to the associated costs compared to previous disclosures.
This expansion aligns with the company's strategy to enhance its industrial output and strengthen its position within the regional agricultural and food processing sectors.
