Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company generated revenue amounting to SAR 747.90 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, reflecting an 18.48% increase from SAR 631.20 million in Q1-25.
The annual revenue growth resulted from gain of new projects and higher sales volume, according to a bourse filing.
Al Babtain Power also recorded a surge of 62.47% in net profit to SAR 143.30 million during January-March 2026 when compared to SAR 88.20 million in the same three-month period of 2025.
The company attributed the higher net income to “improvement in operational costs, improved profit margins and increase in sales volume.”
The earnings per share (EPS) also soared to SAR 2.24 in Q1-26 from SAR 1.38 in Q1-25.
On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q1-26 were 2.50% higher than SAR 139.80 million in Q4-25, while the revenue decreased by 1.83% from SAR 761.90 million.
In 2025, Al Babtain Power posted net profits worth SAR 453 million and revenue of SAR 2.85 billion.
