Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Ashghal Al Moysra Company has been awarded a project from the Saudi Post, known as SPL Subul, for a framework agreement involving specialized logistics and asset management services, according to a bourse filing.
The contract is valued at SAR 445,222 including value-added tax (VAT) and focuses on the dismantling, transportation, and handling of returned items across the postal authority’s nationwide network of facilities.
The project award, which type is described as partial award and was officially confirmed on 14 May 2026, establishes a framework agreement for the management of returned materials and surplus assets.
Meanwhile, the timeline for the project moves toward a formalization phase in the coming weeks. Al Ashghal Al Moysra expects to sign the final contract on 30 June 2026.
This period between the initial award and the expected signing date is standard for large-scale framework agreements, providing time for the finalization of operational protocols and administrative compliance.
This agreement covers the entirety of the Saudi Post’s physical infrastructure, including all administrative buildings, regional branches, and local offices across Saudi Arabia.
The scope of the project is comprehensive in its logistical requirements, where Al Ashghal Al Moysra will be responsible for the systematic dismantling of items, followed by the loading, transportation, and eventual unloading of these materials at designated locations.
The inclusion of dismantling and specialized handling suggests a need for technical expertise and a coordinated labor force capable of managing various types of assets within the postal service's operational environment.
By servicing all branches and offices, the company will utilize its logistics capabilities to ensure the efficient movement of goods from diverse geographical points.
The project value accounts for the 15% VAT mandated in Saudi Arabia, while in the context of government and semi-government procurement, a partial award typically indicates that the company has been selected to manage a specific segment of a larger tender or a particular geographical zone, rather than the entirety of a national contract. This allows for specialized service delivery while maintaining operational flexibility for the client.
In accordance with regulatory transparency standards, the company has confirmed that there are no related parties involved in the transaction. This ensures that the award was granted through a competitive and independent procurement process.
The project is expected to contribute to the company's operational activities as it executes the dismantling and transport requirements outlined in the agreement.
Al Ashghal Al Moysr lately signed a deal worth SAR 813,510 with the Association of Masjid Building for a duration of one year until May 2027.
