Mubasher: Al Aman Investment posted a decline of 18.4% in profits to KWD 131,000 ($432,000) during the third quarter of 2018 compared to about KWD 160,600 ($529,600) in the same period a year ago.
During the nine-month period in 2018, Al Aman registered an increase of 99.8% in earnings to KWD 1 million compared to nearly KWD 500,620 in the same period a year ago, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The growth in 9M profits is attributed to a change in investments at fair value through profits and losses, as well as an increase in dividends income.
