Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Air Arabia Egypt, a joint venture between Egyptian travel and tourism company (Travco Group) and the UAE’s Air Arabia, has started direct flights between Alexandria and Milan.
The Emirati carrier will launch two flights a week from Alexandria International Airport to Milan Bergamo International Airport and vice versa on Fridays and Sundays, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
“Adding Milan to the network of our rapidly expanding Egypt Hub forms an important part of Air Arabia’s ongoing commitment to our passengers to access affordable and unique holiday destinations,” Group CEO of Air Arabia Adel Al Ali commented.
“We are pleased to celebrate the opening of the new route with Alexandria in Egypt, as part of a strategy to expand the Air Arabia network in Milan Bergamo Airport,” CEO Milan Bergamo Airport Emilio Bellingardi said.
Air Arabia operates flights to more than 150 routes worldwide from the carrier’s four hubs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
