Air Arabia launches 1st flight to Prague

Dubai – Mubasher: Air Arabia announced the launch of its first flight to Czech Republic’s capital Prague, which directly reached Václav Havel Airport from Sharjah.

The Dubai-based airline's flight departed Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) at 7:35, while it reached at 11:20 local time, according to a statement on Tuesday.

Air Arabia further noted that it will operate five weekly flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and the flight will take six hours and 50 minutes.

“On Tuesdays and Sundays, the departing flight leaves Sharjah at 07:35 hours and arrives in Prague at 11:20 local time, [and] the return flight departs Prague at 12:00 and arrives in Sharjah the following morning at 21:00 hours,” the statement added.

On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the departing flight is set to leave Sharjah at 15:35 hours and arrives in Prague at 19:20 local time, while the return flight departs Prague at 21:05 and arrives in Sharjah at 06:05 am.

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC), last reported a 17% decline in profits during the nine-month period ended 30 September, reaching AED 530 million.

The firm is currently owning a 53-jet fleet which operates flights to more than 150 global destinations, along with its expansions over the coming years.
