Dubai-Mubasher: Agthia Group posted an 18.5% growth in its second-quarter profits, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached AED 77.86 million ($21.2 million) in Q2-16, compared to AED 65.72 million ($17.9 million) in Q2-15.
In H1-16, the company reported a 16.4% rise in its profits to reach AED 145.37 million from AED 124.94 million achieved in H1-15.
Operating profits rose 14% to AED 142.44 million in H1-16, compared to AED 125 million in the same period a year earlier.
Agthia’s stock rose 1.8% to AED 7.62, generating AED 1.68 million from the exchange of 220,500 shares.
