Riyadh – Mubasher: Advanced Petrochemical Company reported a 36.91% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 815.4 million in 2021, compared to SAR 595.59 million.
Higher net profits are mainly attributed to the rise in polypropylene sales prices by 51%, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company generated revenues of SAR 3.11 billion in 2021, up 39.44% from SAR 2.23 billion in the earlier year.
The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 3.77 last year, against SAR 2.75 in 2020.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the company's net profits hiked by 57.2% to SAR 654 million, compared to SAR 416 million in the year-ago period.
