UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade declined by 7.9% to AED 111.9 billion in the first seven months of 2020 from AED 121.5 billion in the same period of 2019.
Abu Dhabi recorded AED 20.2 billion re-exports in the January-July period of 2020, down 34.7% from AED 31 billion in the year-ago period, according to the latest statistics by the Statistics Centre − Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
Meanwhile, the emirate's non-oil imports retreated by 3.4% to AED 55 billion in the January-July period of 2020 from AED 56.9 billion in the same period of 2019.
The non-oil exports increased by 9.2% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 36.7 billion in the first seven months of 2020.
In July, Abu Dhabi recorded a 7.9% decrease in the non-oil foreign trade to AED 16 billion, when compared with July 2019.
Saudi Arabia came on top of the emirate's trade partners in July 2020, with AED 3.182 billion representing 20.3% of the total trade value.
At the same time, the US topped Abu Dhabi's trade partners of imports with AED 873 million.
