Aarna Capital becomes DGCX's general clearing member

UAE - Mubasher: Aarna Capital Limited, an Abu Dhabi-based multi-asset regulated brokerage firm, has become a general clearing member of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX).

Following the approval of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), Aarna Capital Limited becomes the first Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) company to be recognised as a general clearing member of DGCX in Abu Dhabi, according to a press release on Wednesday.

As a general clearing member, Aarna will offer its customers trade execution and clearing services for DGCX's products, in addition to clearing services to other DGCX trading members.

The CEO of DGCX, Les Male, said: "With this milestone, Aarna Capital’s customers will now have direct access to our products and services – which forms part of our wider effort to expand our presence across the UAE and the wider region."

Meanwhile, the Senior Executive Officer of Aarna, Dima Nedvetsky, commented: "Aarna is looking to add its extensive global markets expertise to complement DGCX efforts in developing new and exciting new services. The solution allows us to enhance the product offering to our clients, strengthen Aarna’s position on the market and underline our commitment to the development of financial markets in UAE."
