The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse rose 1.26% or 14.57 points to settle at 1,173.17 points in midsession on Thursday.
By 11:50 am Bahrain time, the market was in green after receiving support from the banks sector led by Ahli United Bank.
Liquidity stood at about BHD 270,840 after 1.49 million shares were traded through 35 transactions.
The banks sector gained 2.7%, as AUB grew 4.7%.
