Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange ended the week with a decline of 0.03% to 2047 points.
Trading values dropped today to JOD 6.6 million, compared to JOD 9.3 million yesterday. Trading volume also declined to 6.2 million shares exchanged through 3,150 trades.
ASE sectors’ performance was mixed, as the industrial sector rose by 0.26%, followed by the financial sector with an increase of 0.06%, while the services sector decreased alone by 0.03%.
The index was supported by a rise in the prices of 46 shares traded out of 11 companies, while 11 other shares moved down.
Arab Company for Investment Projects share topped the gainers with 7.14% up to JOD 0.15, followed by Masafat (+5.66%) to JOD 0.56.
Meanwhile, Jordanian Management and Consulting Company was the weakest share with a fall of 4.89%, the Premier Business and Projects share (-4.81%).
ASE ended Wednesday with a drop of 0.04% or 0.84 points to 2047.76 points
