Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) slipped only 0.91 points on Tuesday, after four consecutive sessions of decline.
The benchmark index remained almost unchanged, closing at 2099.03 points.
The sectors and leading stocks ended the session on a mixed note, with the industrial sector going up 0.28% on the back of Eqbal which gained 1.08%.
The financial sector rose 0.12%, with Housing and Jordan Banks levelling up 0.1% and 1.78% respectively, while Arab Bank declined 0.48%.
On the other hand, the services sector was the only decliner by 0.44%.
Traded volume increased to 8.82 million shares compared to 6.94 million shares on Monday, with a turnover of JOD 8.05 million ($11.37 million) compared to JOD 6.96 million ($9.83 million) on Monday.
