Mubasher: The main index of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Thursday’s trading in the green, as the main index levelled up 0.08% or 1.75 points, and closed at the level of 2,184.65 points,
The main index declined on the back of blue chip stocks, as Arab Bank lost 0.8% and registered the highest turnover at KWD 394,620, while Bank Al Itihad went down by 0.49%.
The financial sector fell by 0.23%, as the Commercial Bank of Jordan and Contempro lost 0.74% and 1.94% respectively, while international cards shrunk 1.94%.
International cards was the most active in traded volumes with 67,600 shares.
On the other hand, the industrial sector went up by 0.24%, as Arab Aluminum led the session’s gainers and gained 2.63%, while Al Eqbal added 0.81%.
The services sector edged up 0.01% as Jopetrol and Philadelphia Int’l rise 0.87% and 0.9% respectively.
Total traded volume went up to 5.4 million shares compared to 4.9 million shares in last session, while traded values increased to JOD 7.3 million from JOD 5.9 million on Wednesday.
