Riyadh — Mubasher: Almasane Alkobra Mining Company (AMAK) announced that the Capital Market Authority (CMA) issued its approval for the firm’s request to increase its capital, according to a bourse filing.
Upon the ratification granted on 5 October 2026, the capital hike will be conducted through a rights issue offering with a total value of SAR 680 million.
The approval follows AMAK’s initial filing submitted on 21 May 2026. Under the terms of the regulatory consent, the eligibility for the rights will be granted to shareholders registered in the company's records at the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) at the close of the second trading day following the date of the Extraordinary General Assembly (EGM).
Meanwhile, the capital increase remains conditional upon obtaining final approval from the company’s shareholders during the upcoming EGM.
AMAK stated it will publish the rights issue prospectus and announce the date for the EGM at a later time. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to strengthen its financial position and complete necessary regulatory requirements.
