AMAK achieves 9% higher net profit in Q1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Almasane Alkobra Mining Company (AMAK) posted higher earnings per share (EPS) at SAR 0.68 in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, compared to SAR 0.62 in Q1-25.

AMAK recorded an 8.80% growth to SAR 60.10 million in net income during January-March 2026 when compared with SAR 55.23 million in the same quarter a year earlier, according to a bourse filing.

The firm attributed the SAR 5 million increase in net profits to the SAR 4 million higher gross profit to SAR 87.80 million from SAR 83.95 million in Q1-25 that was driven by lower direct costs despite higher financing costs.

The mining company generated revenue of SAR 218.40 million in Q1-26, reflecting a decrease of 0.62% from SAR 219.77 million in Q1-25.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits of AMAK in Q1-26 were 15.27% lower than SAR 70.94 million in Q4-25 and the revenue shrank by 21.06% from SAR 276.69 million.

In 2025, the listed mining entity AMAK posted net profits of SAR 280.59 million and revenue worth SAR 1.02 billion.
