Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) suffered losses in Wednesday’s opening session, weighed down by the decline of Etisalat and First Gulf Bank (FGB).
The general index declined 0.11% or 4.8 points to reach 4,383.16 points by 11:05am UAE time.
The telecom sector fell 0.28% as Etisalat sank 0.28%. The banks sector also retreated 0.10% after FGB lost 0.41%.
Turnover amounted to AED 36.67 million after trading 16.86 million shares through 337 transactions.
Dana Gas was the most active stock after trading 3.65 million shares, while Union National Bank (UNB) was the value leader with a turnover of AED 9.7 million.
