Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance on Thursday, amid the fall of the real estate and banks sectors.
The general index slipped 0.07% or 3.25 points to reach 4,593.58 points.
Trading volume reached 50.66 million shares on Thursday, compared to 47.08 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover stood at AED 221.05 million, compared to AED 140.83 million.
The real estate sector retreated 0.46% as Aldar Properties slid 0.69%.
The banks sector fell 0.16% after RAK Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) decreased 6.67% and 1.62% respectively.
The energy sector topped gainers after adding 1.85%, backed by TAQA and Dana Gas which gained 1.96% and 1.82% respectively.
The telecom sector advanced 0.25% as Etisalat levelled up 0.25%.
