Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw gains in Tuesday’s mid-session, spurred by the rise of energy and real estate stocks.
The main index rose 0.02% or 0.45 point to reach 4,564.53 points by 11:40am UAE time.
The energy sector advanced 2.12% as Dana Gas and TAQA went up 2.13% and 2.08% respectively.
The real estate sector grew 0.49% as Eshraq Properties gained 6.06%. The insurance sector went up 1.8% after Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) advanced 14.7%.
On the other hand, the telecom sector fell 0.56% as Etisalat went down 0.56%.
The market saw trading of 91.3 million shares through 962 transactions, with a turnover of AED 102.97 million.
Eshraq was the value leader after generating AED 50 million.
